Going to Wenatchee for the weekend was super fun! It is absolutely beautiful where we were at and it was fun to spend the weekend with my fellow peers. I was a little nervous about doing the workshops with the students because I didn't know if they were going to like what we were going to be teaching them. They loved it! I was so glad that they did because it made it so much more fun! We picked the perfect spot to have our session and I think that is why they liked it so much. We were down by the water, and that was good because it was really hot their that weekend!
I was in a group with Katie and Chelsea and for our lesson and we were presenting was making stick vases, homade icecream, did a fear factor game with them. Some of them either really liked making the stick vases and some of them didn't really care for doing them. But they seemed to really enjoy making the icecream and participating in the fear factor game.
I am really glad that we got the opportunity to go present at a camp for 8th graders, it is always nice to get experience working with students and it makes me really excited to start working with them. It was also fun hanging out with all of the people in the PE group.
